WHAT WE DO
Teen Talks creates programming to foster improved communications and interactions between Youth and Law Enforcement in underserved communities.
We partner with schools, mentoring programs, churches and more for 3 discussions and 1 capstone event.
We facilitate and encourage dialogue that allows the teens and officers to gain insight about each other and the issues they face.
We’re working to build empathy, awareness, and trust between the two.
BLOG & PRESS
“One of the things I always share with the kids whenever I meet with them is that I let them know that in my eyes and in the eyes of the people they work with, they are priceless”
“This program helps us understand what the kids go through so whenever they talk to us, we now know how to better interact with them. It’s a win win for both sides.”
“We talk about what’s going on in the world, what’s happening on the internet. It’s nice because we can express our feelings and tell them what’s real and what’s not.”
