On April 9, 2022 Teen Talk Students from the Student Success after school program attended a field trip to the Historic first Black beach in Miami Dade County Virginia Key Beach. Students were given a tour of the beach and learned about the history of how the beach was established as the First Black Beach in Miami. Students received a presentation from the Miami Dade County PD Marine patrol which included air, sea, and scuba diving demonstrations.
